THE SARISKA RETREAT offers wide range of activities specially designed to keep the guests entertained all the time.


• Morning Session of Yoga & Meditation : Our yoga expert will guide you with basics of yoga and pranayam.

• Local cooking classes: Our expert cook will help you try your hand at cooking local Rajasthani dishes. You can choose farm grown organic vegetables from our nursery and cook them too.

• Trekking to the Mountain: The Sariska Retreat lies in the foothills of the Aravali Mountains, ideal for Trekking and Rock climbing. These Mountains are rich in flora and Fauna and offer spectacular views and ideal for bird watchers too.

• Swimming Pool: Enjoy with family and friends in the pool. Private dinner can be arranged on demand.

• Star Gazing: Relax under the sky and gaze at stars on clear clouds in the unpolluted fresh environment.

• Relaxing Lounge, Library facilities: Relax in the lounge, unwind yourself reading books.

• Games room: You can enjoy playing Carrom , Chess and other indoor games.

• Birding & Picnics: The Sariska Retreat and nearby areas are rich in flora and fauna .It offers an ideal habitat for local and migratory bird species. Around 350 avifaunal species are found here. Watch variety of bird species while trekking Aravali Ranges and enjoy the breakfast served right there amidst nature by our efficient and friendly staff.

• Farm/ Nursery and Dairy visit: Take a round around the resort and visit the in house nursery where various vegetables are grown organically. You can even choose vegetables for your day’s meal [hand pick] . Visit our dairy and see how the milk is extracted organically .You can even try your hand at milking the cow and take a feel of a village life/rural life.

• PLANT-A-TREE: We encourage guests to help us afforest the surrounding jungle and grow sustainable forests.

• Visit to Local Artisans: Make a visit to local artisans in near by villages and experience their art of Marble Statue making, Pottery making and basket weaving.

• Evenings: Enjoy local music by Village folks as they showcase their local folk music.

• Horse riding: Feel like a king while riding on horse and taking a round in and around the resort accompanied by the trained rider.

Wildlife Safaris at Sariska National Park :


• Jeep Safaris: Personal tours of the forests by highly trained and motivated naturalist allow guests to enjoy nature at its best.


Sariska Tiger Reserve is a national park and tiger reserve located in the Alwar district of the state of Rajasthan, India. It was established as a sanctuary in 1958 and then as a tiger reserve in 1979 and eventually as a national park in the year 1982.The tiger reserve is famous for its Bengal Tigers, bird watching and the Jungle Safaris that take you through the pristine forests.


Sariska National Park lies in the Aravali hills and was once the hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Alwar. With an area of around 800 sq.km, the topography of the protected area comprises scrub-thorn arid forests, rocky landscapes, dry deciduous forests, rocks, grasses and hilly cliffs and is dotted with places of religious and historical interests, which includes the ruins of the Kankarwari Fort, the 10 th century old Neelkantha Mahadev temples, the Budhha Hanuman temple near Pandupol,t he Bharthari temple near the park office and the beautiful remnants of temples at Taalvriksh which is also famous for the hot and cold springs.

Siliserh Boating experience


Siliserh lake is located close to THE SARISKA RETREAT ( 40 Kms) and has a beautiful Palace overlooking the lake then built by the Maharaja for his wife. The lake is a popular stopover point for people travelling to Sariska National Park. Where the stunning backdrop of the Aravalli Hills adds to the charm of the palace.


• Virat Nagar place of Pandavas exile Bairat: This small town, in the state of Rajasthan was once the capital of the legendary and ancient kingdom of Matsayadesh, which can be dated back to the times of the Mahabharata. With ornately carved temples and shrines and natural rock and cave shelters, there is much that the town of Viratnagar has to offer. Ashok Shila Ashok Shilalekh, Beejak ki Pahari, Bhim ki Dungari, Jain Temples, Ganesh Giri Temple, Museum ,Mughal Gate.

• BHANGARH FORT :

The Bhangarh fort has been tagged as the most haunted place in India and is now becoming the main tourist attraction for the people visiting Rajasthan. It is a 17th-century fort built by Man Singh l (one of the navratnas of Akbar's court). The Bhangarh Fort is lovely and while standing on the terrace of the fort, you can see the vast expanse of Bhangarh town.


• ABHANERI STEPWELLCHAND BAORI :

At a 92 Kms distance, One of the oldest and deepest stepwells of Rajasthan is also known as Abhaneri step well. It is an architectural surprise that consists of perfectly symmetrical 3,500 narrow steps over 13 storeys. Adjoining this stepwell, there is a temple, dedicated to Harshat Mata. Harshat Mata is regarded as the goddess of joy who spreads happiness to the entire village.
